There is no shortage of cultural and sporting activities in the surrounding area, and here are a few suggestions:

- Bergerac, 20 mins away (its old town, the wine and navigation museums, its squares (La Mirpe, Pélissière, Marché Couvert)...)

- Issigeac, 40 mins away (La Maison des Têtes (a building with its facade of sculptured heads), the Saint-Félicien church, ...)

- Saint Emilion, 1h20 away, a medieval town which since 1999 has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

And last but not least, the famous castles such as Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Milandes (with its memories of Josephine Baker)…and the Lascaux and Padirac caves, to name but a few.
